Description:
At 523 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles northwest of
Goldsboro to 7 miles northwest of Bowdens. Movement was east at 35
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Kinston, Warsaw, La Grange, Mount Olive, Kornegay, Deep Run, Bowdens,
Beautancus, Kenansville, Albertson, Kinston Regional Jetport,
Sarecta, Faison, Pink Hill, Calypso, and Sandy Bottom.
