Description:
At 1248 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a thunderstorm with
frequent lightning 12 miles southwest of Brevard, or near Lake
Toxaway, moving northeast at 10 mph.
Locations to be impacted include...
Lake Toxaway, Gorges State Park, and Sapphire.
In addition to intense lightning, very heavy rainfall rates up to 2
inches per hour will be possible in these areas.
