At 423 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Howellsville, or 8 miles northeast of Lumberton, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Lumberton, St. Pauls, Howellsville, Duart, Tolarsville, Ammon, Robeson Community College, Tobermory, Barker Ten Mile, White Oak, Jerome, Tar Heel, and Southeastern Regional Medical Center. This includes Interstate 95 in North Carolina between mile markers 13 and 32.
