* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...A portion of northwest North Carolina, including the following counties, Watauga, Wilkes and Yadkin. * WHEN...Through Monday evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Slow moving showers with embedded thunderstorms will be possible into Monday. Rainfall rates of 1 to 4 inches will be possible in the heavier downpours. Repeated rounds of rain could cause flash flooding. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
