* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...The Sandhills, southern Piedmont, and southern Coastal
Plain of North Carolina, including the following counties: Anson,
Cumberland, Harnett, Hoke, Johnston, Lee, Montgomery, Moore,
Richmond, Sampson, Scotland, Stanly, Wayne, and Wilson.
* WHEN...Until 9 AM EDT this morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- While the greatest flood threat has ended, showers and a few
thunderstorms will produce periods of heavy rain this
morning, with a continued risk of isolated flash flooding.
