Description:
At 442 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near East Lake to near Lake Mattamuskeet to near
Lowland, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Sladesville, Killkenny, Ponzer, Swindell Fork, Scranton, Gull Rock,
Alligator, Gum Neck, Kilkenny, Fairfield, Mashoes, Manteo, New
Holland, Pamlico Beach, Lowland, Columbia, East Lake, Woodley,
Nebraska, and Royal.
Instruction:
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency.
They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in
Newport.
Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
