* At 530 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 4 miles northwest
of Marion, moving west at 20 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.
* Locations impacted include...
Marion, Mount Mitchell State Park, a portion of the B.R. Parkway
between Craggy and Little Switzerland, Busick, Pleasant Gardens,
Woodlawn, Celo, and Lake James.
Instruction:
Brief damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines over small
