Description:
At 456 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 6 miles east of Seagrove to 7 miles east of Biscoe to
9 miles northwest of Hoffman to 6 miles northwest of Rockingham to 6
miles northwest of Chesterfield, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Rockingham, Wadesboro, Troy, Pinehurst, Hamlet, Biscoe, Hoffman,
Seagrove, Mount Gilead, and Robbins.
This includes Interstate 73 between Mile Markers 26 and 67.
