Southwestern Patrick County in southwestern Virginia...
* Until 1215 AM EDT.
* At 955 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain
fell this afternoon. Creek and streams were begin to fall this
evening. However, another round of storms will move over the area
between 10p and 11 pm.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
