* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of northwest North Carolina, including the following areas, Alleghany NC and Ashe, southwest Virginia, including the following areas, Bland, Carroll, Giles, Grayson, Pulaski, Smyth, Tazewell and Wythe, and southeast West Virginia, including the following area, Mercer. * WHEN...Until 4 AM EDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Thunderstorms along a stalled front are expected to result in repeat heavy rainfall through this tonight.
