...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM CDT /8 PM MDT/ THIS EVENING DUE TO WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR MORTON, GRANT, SIOUX, AND EMMONS COUNTIES... .Critical fire weather conditions are expected in parts of south central North Dakota into this evening. Northwest winds will begin to diminish this evening with rising humidity after 7 PM. * AFFECTED AREA...Morton, Grant, Sioux, and Emmons counties. * TIMING...Until 9 PM CDT /8 PM MDT/ this evening. * WINDS...Northwest around 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 20 percent. * IMPACTS...Any fires that ignite will spread rapidly and become difficult to control or suppress.
