Description: 
At 658 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 10 miles southwest of South Heart to 14 miles south of Reeder, or along a line from 18 miles southwest of Dickinson to 12 miles southwest of Hettinger, moving east at 40 mph. THESE ARE DESTRUCTIVE STORMS FOR NEW ENGLAND, REGENT, MOTT, AND HETTINGER. HAZARD...90 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...You are in a life-threatening situation. Flying debris may be deadly to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged or destroyed. Homes and businesses will have substantial roof and window damage. Expect extensive tree damage and power outages. Locations impacted include... Hettinger, Mott, New England, Scranton, Reeder, Regent, Haynes, Amidon, North Lemmon, Burt, Bucyrus, Havelock, Gascoyne, Lefor, Schefield, Dickinson Regional Airport, Bentley and Buffalo Springs.
Instruction: 
Seek shelter now inside an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built structure. These storms are capable of producing widespread destructive winds and large hail. Intense thunderstorm lines can produce brief tornadoes and widespread significant wind damage. Although a tornado is not immediately likely, it is best to move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. These storms may cause serious injury and significant property damage. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM MDT Saturday for a portion of southwest North Dakota.
