Description: 
At 1004 PM CDT /904 PM MDT/, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 8 miles east of Glen Ullin to 24 miles south of Carson, or along a line from 34 miles south of Beulah to 52 miles east of Hettinger, moving northeast at 55 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... Elgin, Carson, Flasher, Almont, Shields, Heart Butte Dam, Judson, Lark, Raleigh, Leith, St. Gertrude, Heil, Porcupine, Fish Creek Dam and Standing Rock.
Instruction: 
Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from windows. These storms are capable of producing widespread damaging winds and large hail. Intense thunderstorm lines can produce brief tornadoes and widespread significant wind damage. Although a tornado is not immediately likely, it is best to move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. These storms may cause serious injury and significant property damage. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1200 AM CDT /1100 PM MDT/ for a portion of south central North Dakota.
