At 908 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from over Hazen Bay Recreation Area to near Coleharbor, or along a line from 15 miles southwest of Garrison to 9 miles southeast of Garrison, moving northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Garrison, Underwood, Max, Riverdale, Pick City, Coleharbor, Benedict, Hazen Bay Recreation Area, Beulah Bay Recreation Area, Ruso City, Ruso, Fort Stevenson State Park, Lake Sakakawea State Park, Emmet, Dakota Waters Recreation Area and Strawberry Lake.
Instruction: 
Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from windows. These storms are capable of producing dangerous hail and damaging winds. Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built structure. If on or near Lake Sakakawea, get away from the water and move indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 15 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now! Do not be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
