Description: 
At 909 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 12 miles northeast of Courtenay to near Buchanan, or along a line from 33 miles northeast of Jamestown to 14 miles north of Jamestown, moving southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Trained spotters reported. At 857 PM CDT, a 66 mph wind gust was reported 5 miles west of Courtenay. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... Jamestown, Kensal, Glenfield, Buchanan, Spiritwood Lake, Bordulac, Spiritwood, Pingree, Courtenay, Eldridge, Windsor, Edmunds, Melville and Juanita.
Instruction: 
Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from windows. These storms have produced widespread damaging winds and are capable of producing large hail. Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built structure. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
