Description:
At 1133 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 6 miles south of
Fullerton, or 8 miles northeast of Ellendale, moving southeast at 45
mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include...
Ellendale, Oakes, Lamoure, Edgeley, Kulm, La Moure, Verona,
Fullerton, Forbes, Ludden, La Moure City, Merricourt City, Grand
Rapids, Monango, Berlin, Merricourt, Guelph and Glover.
Instruction:
Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing
widespread damaging winds and large hail.
