Description:
At 1044 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 12 miles south of
Kulm, or 24 miles west of Ellendale, moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and ping pong ball size hail.
SOURCE...Trained spotters reported.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include...
Mainly rural areas of Northeastern McIntosh County.
Instruction:
Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm has produced widespread
damaging winds and is capable of producing large hail.
