Description:
At 1055 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles southwest
of Merricourt City, or 17 miles northwest of Ellendale, moving east
at 35 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include...
Ellendale, Fullerton, Forbes, Merricourt City, Monango and
Merricourt.
Instruction:
Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing
widespread damaging winds and large hail.
