At 224 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicate between 3 and 6 inches of rain have fallen across the warned area. Additional rainfall this afternoon will generally be light with a half inch or less. Flash flooding is ongoing in the warned area. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that have experienced flooding include... Bono and Route 2.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
