Spring River near Quapaw affecting Ottawa County. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Verdigris River near Lenapah. * WHEN...From Friday morning to early Monday morning. * IMPACTS...At 34.0 feet, serious agricultural flooding occurs between the Kansas border and headwaters of Lake Oologah. State Highway 10 is impassable at a point 5 miles east of Lenapah. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 17.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage tomorrow morning to a crest of 34.7 feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall below flood stage late Sunday evening.
