Neosho River near Commerce affecting Ottawa County.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...Neosho River near Commerce.
* WHEN...Until Tuesday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, moderate agricultural flooding occurs.
Riverview Park experiences moderate flooding. State Highway 125
near the fairgrounds and Riverview Park will be closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:30 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 19.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river is nearing crest and is expected to
begin falling this afternoon. It is expected to fall below
flood stage early Tuesday afternoon.
