Description:
At 917 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Glencoe to 4 miles north of Perkins to near
Coyle, moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include...
Stillwater, Perkins, Langston, Yale, Glencoe, Ripley, Coyle, Mulhall,
Lake Carl Blackwell, and Ingalls.
Instruction:
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
