Description:
At 335 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Deschutes River Woods, or 9 miles southwest of Bend, moving north at
35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Bend, Tumalo, Deschutes River Woods, and Sunriver.
This includes Highway 20 between mile markers 1 and 7, and between
mile markers 12 and 19.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
