SATURDAY...
The upper level low will eject into the region bringing windy
conditions to many of the Cascade Gaps as well as central OR.
Humidities on Saturday will be critical.
* AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zones 698 Southern Blue Mountains
and 700 Central Mountains of Oregon.
* TIMING...Until 8 PM PDT Saturday.
* WINDS...Southwest 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 8 percent.
* IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread
quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
