At 533 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Altoona, moving southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Altoona, Tyrone, Lakemont, Bellwood, Williamsburg, Tipton, Blandburg, Spruce Creek, Birmingham, Horseshoe Curve, Sinking Valley, Prince Gallitzin State Park, Canoe Creek State Park, Coalport, Petersburg, Alexandria, Ashville, Marklesburg, Chest Springs, and Peoples Natural Gas Field.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Very heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
