Description: 
At 611 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 10 miles southwest of Windber to 10 miles north of Bittinger. Movement was east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Somerset, Meyersdale, Berlin, Friedens, Central City, Mount Davis, Salisbury, Hooversville, Garrett, Indian Lake, Stoystown, Schellsburg, Shanksville, New Paris, Wellersburg, New Baltimore, Callimont, and Flight 93 National Memorial.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Very heavy rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for south central Pennsylvania.
