Description: 
At 550 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Mifflinburg, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Milton, Lewisburg, Northumberland, Mifflinburg, Winfield, Linntown, New Columbia, Montandon, Vicksburg, R.B. Winter State Park, Spruce Run Reservoir, Forest Hill, Sand Bridge State Park, West Milton, New Berlin, McCall Dam State Park, and Bucknell.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Very heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle. Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until this storm passes. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for central and north central Pennsylvania.
