* WHAT...For the Extreme Heat Warning, dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 110. For the Heat Advisory, heat index values up to 104 expected. * WHERE...A portion of central Pennsylvania. * WHEN...For the Extreme Heat Warning, until 8 PM EDT this evening. For the Heat Advisory, until 8 PM EDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...High temperatures will exceed 100 degrees in many places today with even higher heat index values expected. Temperatures will be a few degrees lower on Saturday, but heat risks will continue.

Know the signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Drink plenty of fluids, stay out of the sun, and stay in an air-conditioned room.
