At 451 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Everett to Locust Grove to Berkeley Springs, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Breezewood, Warfordsburg, Clearville, Everett, McConnellsburg, Harrisonville, Big Cove Tannery, Crystal Springs, Wells Tannery, Needmore, Valley-Hi, and Saluvia. This includes the following Interstates... Interstate 70 from mile markers 147 to 170. The Pennsylvania Turnpike from mile markers 151 to 179.

They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in State College PA. Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
