At 805 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Elverson, or 13 miles south of Reading, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. This storm has a history of producing wind damage. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is possible. Locations impacted include... Reading, West Chester, Pottstown, Coatesville, Wyomissing, Downingtown, Kennett Square, Birdsboro, Sinking Spring, Laureldale, Parkesburg, West Grove, Womelsdorf, Wernersville, Robesonia, Honey Brook, Elverson, New Morgan, Pughtown, and Marshallton. This includes the following highways... Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 296 and 314. Interstate 176 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 1 and 11.
