At 845 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Geryville to near Hatfield to near Newtown Square to near Kennett Square, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. Strong winds will occur ahead of any rain. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is possible. Locations impacted include... Philadelphia, Camden, West Chester, Bensalem, Norristown, Chester, Pottstown, Phoenixville, Lansdale, West Norriton, East Norriton, Yeadon, Westtown, Quakertown, Perkasie, Doylestown, Byram, Downingtown, Conshohocken, and Hatboro. People at the Southampton Days, Lemon Hill, Philadelphia Stadium, and Quakertown Community Day should seek safe shelter immediately! This includes the following highways... Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 307 and 353. Northeast Extension between mile markers 21 and 45. Interstate 95 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 6 and 37. Interstate 76 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 327 and 351. Interstate 676 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 0 and 1. Interstate 476 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 0 and 19.
