At 900 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Pipersville to near Doylestown to near Germantown to Gibbstown, moving east at 50 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. Strong to damaging winds will occur ahead of any rain associated with a gust front. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is possible. Locations impacted include... Philadelphia, Bensalem, Norristown, Phoenixville, Lansdale, West Norriton, East Norriton, Yeadon, Quakertown, Perkasie, Doylestown, Byram, Conshohocken, Hatboro, Souderton, Bedminster, Ambler, Swarthmore, Collegeville, and Royersford. People at the Southampton Days, Lemon Hill, and Quakertown Community Day should seek safe shelter immediately! This includes the following highways... Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 319 and 353. Northeast Extension between mile markers 21 and 45. Interstate 95 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 22 and 37. Interstate 76 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 327 and 345. Interstate 676 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 0 and 1. Interstate 476 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 3 and 19.
