At 912 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Rock Glen to Delano to New Philadelphia, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Tamaqua, Shenandoah, Mahanoy City, Mcadoo, Hometown, Tuscarora, New Philadelphia, Oneida, Grier City-Park Crest, Delano, Nuremburg, and Sheppton. This includes Interstate 81 from mile markers 126 to 139.

Stay inside a well built structure and keep away from windows. Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
