At 557 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Ligonier, or 14
miles southeast of Latrobe, moving southeast at 10 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Law enforcement reported widespread trees and power lines
down between in Ligonier and Laurel Mountain.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Laurel Mountain and Laurel Mountain State Park.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm has produced damaging winds and is capable of
producing large hail.
