* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Southwestern Kershaw County in central South Carolina... North Central Richland County in central South Carolina... * WHEN...Until 430 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 136 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Columbia, Forest Acres, Dentsville, Elgin, Arcadia Lakes, Villages at Sandhill, Lake Carolina, Sesquicentennial State Park, Killian, Woodfield, Blythewood and Fort Jackson Cantonment Area. - This includes the following highways...
