* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Berkeley County in southeastern South Carolina... Charleston County in southeastern South Carolina... Dorchester County in southeastern South Carolina... * WHEN...Until 645 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 341 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Thunderstorms continue to redevelop and move eastward across an area from around North Charleston and Hanahan, to Daniel Island, and north Mount Pleasant. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches will be possible. Impacted roadways include, but are not limited to, Interstate 26, Interstate 526, Highway 41, and Highway 17. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... North Charleston, Mount Pleasant, Goose Creek, Hanahan, Daniel Island, I-26/I-526 Interchange, West Ashley, Awendaw and Don Holt Bridge.
