Description:
At 209 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Citizens Park, or near Aiken Mall, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Aiken, Barnwell, Aiken Mall, Williston, Blackville, New Ellenton,
Aiken Municipal Airport, Citizens Park, Aiken State Park, Barnwell
State Park, Springfield, Hilda, Salley, Elko, Windsor, Aiken Gopher
Tortoise Heritage Preserve, Hopeland Gardens, and Boyd Pond Park.
This includes Interstate 20 in South Carolina between mile markers 21
and 22.
