Description:
At 400 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Saluda, or 19 miles southeast of Greenwood, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Batesburg-Leesville, Saluda, Ridge Spring, Saluda County Airport,
Dreher Island State Park, Summit, Monetta, Cedar Grove Fire Station,
South Shore Marina, Saluda Co Sheriff's Office, Oswald Park, Good
Hope, Northside Fire Station Main, Rocky Point Recreation Area,
Hollywood Elementary School, Emory, Camp Kinard, Delmar, Hollow Creek
Public Park, and Fredonia.
This includes Interstate 20 in South Carolina near mile marker 37.
