At 424 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles northeast of Buford to near Mt Pisgah to near Liberty Hill. Movement was east at 40 mph. ...Boaters on Lake Wateree Should Seek Safe Harbor... HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Camden, Cheraw, Bishopville, Lake Wateree Dam, Pageland, Chesterfield, Westville, Cheraw State Park, Northeastern Technical College, Cassatt, Cheraw Municipal Airport, Lee State Park, Carolina Sandhills Wildlife Refuge, Mt Pisgah, Longtown, Goodale State Park, Mcbee, Jefferson, Ruby, and Patrick. This includes Interstate 20 in South Carolina between mile markers 121 and 124.
