At 403 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms near Claussen, or 7 miles southwest of Marion, moving northeast at 5 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Marion, Mullins, Pamplico, Zion, Blue Brick, Hyman, Gapway, Claussen, Evergreen, Smithboro, Rains, and Carolinas Hospital System - Marion.
