At 155 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 5
miles north of Spartanburg, or near USC Upstate, moving east at 25
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Spartanburg, Cowpens, Mayo, USC Upstate, Boiling Springs SC, and
Thicketty.
