Description: 
At 301 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms with torrential rainfall extending from Summerville to the Charleston International Airport. As much as 1 to 2 inches of rain have fallen in areas from Summerville to the Northwoods Mall with as much as 2 to 4 inches over parts of North Charleston inside I-526 to near Daniel Island. The risk for flash flooding continues. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... North Charleston, Mount Pleasant, Summerville, Goose Creek, Hanahan, Naval Weapons Station Charleston, I-26/I-526 Interchange, Ladson, Daniel Island and West Ashley. This includes the following highways... I-26 between mile markers 198 and 221. I-526 between mile markers 16 and 28.
