Description: 
At 613 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles south of Abbeville, or 4 miles north of Troy, moving southwest at 10 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines. This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern Abbeville County.
Instruction: 
A few trees and power lines will be blown down in the warned area. The storm will be accompanied by brief heavy rainfall, and little or no lightning. Seek shelter inside an interior room. Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
