At 652 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from near Saint Stephen to 10 miles northeast of Dorchester, moving southeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and small hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Moncks Corner, Saint Stephen, Bonneau, Southern Lake Moultrie, Northern Lake Moultrie, Bonneau Beach, Pinopolis, Cross, Eadytown and Old Santee Canal State Park.
Instruction: 
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds. If on or near Moultrie, get away from the water and move indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 15 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now! Do not be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
