Northwestern Jerauld County in central South Dakota... * Until 430 PM CDT. * At 350 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 8 miles southeast of Danforth, or 26 miles south of Miller, moving northeast at 10 mph. HAZARD...Tornado and half dollar size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. This storm has a history of producing a tornado. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of southwestern Beadle and northwestern Jerauld Counties.
