Description:
At 507 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Mud Butte, or
43 miles west of Faith, moving north at 20 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Mud Butte and Zeona.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM MDT Saturday for
portions of northwest and west central South Dakota.
