Western Perkins County in northwestern South Dakota... * Until 745 PM MDT. * At 654 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 9 miles north of Ralph to near Sheep Buttes, or along a line from 32 miles northeast of Buffalo to 29 miles southeast of Buffalo, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Tennis ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. * Locations impacted include... Reva, Ralph, Lodgepole, Sorum, Prairie City, Date, Slim Buttes and Sheep Buttes.
