Description:
At 810 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 6
miles east of Lodgepole to 11 miles north of Maurine, or along a line
from 20 miles southwest of Lemmon to 32 miles west of Faith, moving
east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Lemmon, Bison, Meadow, Chance, Lodgepole, White Butte, Date,
Prairie City, Shadehill, Owen Lake and Shadehill Reservoir.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds and
large hail.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM MDT for a portion of
northwest South Dakota.
