West Central Haakon County in west central South Dakota... Southeastern Meade County in west central South Dakota... Eastern Pennington County in west central South Dakota... * Until 1230 AM MDT. * At 1126 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 10 miles south of Wasta to 6 miles northwest of Lonesome Valley, or along a line from 38 miles west of Philip to 31 miles north of Pine Ridge, moving northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Badlands National Park, Sheep Mountain Table, Scenic, Lonesome Valley, Owanka, Rockyford, Wicksville, Wasta, Elm Springs, Creighton, Wall, Pinnacles Ranger Station, Delta 9 Missile Silo, Quinn and Grindstone.
