At 524 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 10 miles southwest of Rousseau to near Fate Dam to 9 miles northwest of Ideal, moving northeast at 70 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Public. At 513 AM CDT, 70 mph winds were reported 9 miles north-northwest of Vivian. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... Presho, Kennebec, Reliance, Vivian, Medicine Butte, Fate Dam, 5 Mile Corner, Earling Hill, Lyman, Byre Lake, and southwestern Lower Brule Reservation.
